Meet the Sims Family! For over 13 years, Violet and Ronald have opened their heart and home to youth in their community and have even adopted 6 of their children. The Sims do an excellent job being a support to the children in their care and their families. Their partnership with the children's parents and families have led to successful reunifications and they still stay in touch and visit to this day.

Whether it’s biking, running, swimming, or walking, you can help us in our mission to find homes for children by participating in a 1K activity of your choice between May 21-31.
Passion is an intensely emotional and compelling feeling of enthusiasm or desire for something. That is the term which comes to mind when describing The Heartland For Children staff who train and recruit foster and adoptive parents. They are not only knowledgeable professionals, competent in their vocation, but passionate about recruiting and training motivated people with a desire to make a difference in a young person’s life.
