Meet DJ, short for Dillard (but don’t call him that unless you're super close!), is a thoughtful teen who may seem shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, he opens up into a funny, talkative, and incredibly endearing young man. He’s the kind of person who remembers the little things you tell him—because he genuinely cares.

A natural comedian, DJ loves making people laugh and brightening the room with his quick wit. He's laid-back, kind, and easy to be around—traits that make him a great friend and a joy to spend time with. DJ is creative and imaginative, especially when it comes to his passion for video games and mythical creatures like Sasquatch and the Loch Ness Monster. He even enjoys arcade games and plays the guitar, adding music to the list of his many interests.

DJ is also a loyal animal lover. He keeps the ashes of a beloved pet, a sign of just how deeply he bonds with those he loves. When something—or someone—matters to DJ, it really matters.

He’s doing well in school and values the friendships he's made there, often chatting with his close friends about games and life. Though he’s faced challenges, including bullying, DJ continues to push forward with strength and resilience. He's always willing to lend a helping hand and truly shines when he's around people who see and support his potential.

Pizza is his all-time favorite food, but he's also up for trying new recipes and flavors. Whether he's exploring new tastes or opening up in conversation, DJ shows his courage and willingness to grow in small, meaningful ways every day.

DJ would thrive in a family that is nurturing, fun, patient, and consistent—people who will take the time to help him feel safe and loved. Under that kind of care, this quiet and curious teen would no doubt blossom into the incredible young man he's meant to be.
